Stephanie Cookenour, my daughter, and her new GoPro gift.
Born 7/23/1992 as a 22" 8lbs little girl, Stephanie made Boones Creek, Gray, & Johnson City home enjoying the parks, summer fireworks, children's section of the library, and especially Nickelodeon cartoons
Stephanie graduated with diploma in 2010 from Daniel Boone High School in Gray, TN. She began paralegal studies at ITT TECH while thrilled by her Uncle Tim giving her a nearly new car for a graduation gift. She was most interested in nature, parks, & animals.
Stephanie would always hug me along with reminding me of little memories she'd think about during our times together. MAC makeup & brushes as gifts always exciting
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE My daughter's unexpected death in January didn't keep dad from creating a birthday celebration at our favorite restaurant, Chili's. I had Food City create a small bouquet of wildflowers that any little girl would run through a field picking and saving, a flower shop birthday card with my message written in it, 2 pictures of Stephy - one young on a swing and the latest of her all grown up, some curly colorful streamers, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner taped to the wall n window, and a gift bag of warm vanilla sugar niceties in each chair for the 3 who knew Stephy and cared for her. The tear maker was the unexpected card that the server gave me when paying for our meals that she had sent around the restaurant and had wonderful messages written by the staff. Read it and feel the genuine happy vibes for my daughter. It's her day all day long. She would be 31 years old, today. Happy birthday to you Stephanie Cookenour and know that everyone in Chili's knew without a doubt that it was indeed your birthday.
My daughter, Stephanie Cookenour, died very unexpectedly on January 24, 2023 at the age of 30-1/2 years old. Stephanie’s memories wall was emotional but made me smile at seeing the pictures and mementos. She loved butterflies, so I added the porcelain butterflies on the wall, the pink one as a trinket tray, and the vintage white butterfly drawer pull together with the dried flowers to all be looking up at her pretty face among all those photos above them. Wish I had some of you here to toss ideas around with this evening, but I was able to create what felt right in remembrance of my daughter, Stephanie Cookenour. She graduated from Daniel Boone High School in Gray, TN back in 2010.
My shirts designed with pictures of Stephanie Cookenour, my daughter, to wear and keep her beautiful face and smile seen by so many.
My daughter-themed stairway for Stephanie Cookenour, my little girl, has a mix of textures and shapes all with a weathered white color look & feel along with scroll shapes, old school printed pictures, soft pin cushion frame with pearl end pins, candles with our pictures added to them, and every frame is different in shape and size.
Back in 1994, Stephanie was 2 years old, and I used an old cassette tape recorder to record our little conversation as she and I sat on the couch watching tv at home.
Back in 1996 and 1998, I used a cassette tape recorder to record more little conversations as she and I were safe at home.
